I decided to try the more expensive brand GGMM. My pick was the grey Alauda (EJ-402) model which was on a fair discount for a limited time. I was expecting to be disappointed, but that's not the case. These earphones are excellent. The bass is amazing, coming from such small drivers. The mids and highs are crisp and clear, but are also sibilant most of the time, which makes longer listening sessions quite fatiguing. The design is very unique and the build quality is impressive.

The included unique tips are quite useless when it somes to sealing and keeping the earphones inside your ears, but the normal grey tips were perfect. These earphones are very comfortable.
Lows / Bass
The bass is really impressive for such small drivers and there's also some gentle sub-bass in the mix. Makes bassy music quite enjoyable.
Mids / Vocals
The mids are quite detailed and bright, but you will encounter sibilance in vocals quite often, especially on female vocals. The sound is a bit too hard for sensitive ears.
Highs / Treble
The highs are sharp as a knife. Bright and detailed (not too detailed). However, they are not so comfortable for long listening sessions, as the sibilance is hard to miss.
